The Nashville Jung Circle is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide community and education rooted in the works of depth psychologist, C.G. Jung.  It was established in 2015 on the foundation of a previous group, the Jung Society of Nashville, which for over twenty years offered lectures and workshops to the Nashville community but became inactive in the early 2000’s.

This newly formed group began with several Jungian-based events in recent years, including a showing by Michael Whitney of his Jung documentary “Matter of Heart,” a lecture by sand play therapist Gretchen Watts, and a presentation by Donna Scott on Jung’s Red Book.  The enthusiastic response of the Nashville community to these events led to the creation in April, 2015, of a steering committee, with members Donna Scott, Gretchen Watts, Michael Whitney, Adele Tyler, Linda Odom, Judi Draper, and Sherry Cothran.  The name “Nashville Jung Circle” was chosen to highlight the inclusive nature of this group, which achieved its status as a non-profit educational corporation in July 2015.

The Nashville Jung Circle is growing its membership and activities. All of our events are open to the public. We hope you will join us for upcoming activities for 2016, check out the calendar.
